Adding a contact status

Use this option to add a new contact status.

To edit a contact status, you need to delete the incorrect status, and add the new one.

To add a contact status:

  1. From the Master menu, navigate to ClosedManagement Strategy > Codes > Contact Codes (menu 10.5.58).

  2. In the Contact Management Configuration window, select Update Contact Statuses, and press Enter or click Ok.
  3. In the Select Contact Type to Update window, select the contact type to update, and press Enter or click Ok.
  4. In the Contact type Status Configuration screen, at the CMD (A, D, /) prompt, type A, and press Enter.
  5. In the Enter Contact type Status to Add window, type the status name, and press Enter or click Ok.
  6. In the Enter Contact type Status Description window, type a description for the status, and press Enter or click Ok.

    After you press Enter or click Ok, The Collector System automatically saves the change.

  7. To return to the Contact Management Configuration window, type /, and press Enter.
