Enabling or disabling automatic update of primary packet member after WIP removal

Menu 10.1.15

Use this option to enable or disable the system from replacing the primary account in a packet if the primary account qualifies for WIP removal. If you enable this option, the system automatically designates another account in the packet that qualifies for the WIP as the primary account in the packet. By default, this option is disabled.

To enable or disable automatic update of primary packet member after WIP removal:

1. From the Master menu, navigate to Management Strategy > Agency > Misc. Setup Routines (menu 10.1.15).

   

2. In the Miscellaneous Setup Routines window, select Auto Change Primary Pkt Mem When WIP Removed, and press Enter or click Ok.

3. At the Automatically change primary packet member when original primary is WIP removed? prompt, do one of the following:

   • To enable the system to automatically change the primary packet member, click Yes.
   • To disable the system from automatically changing the primary packet member, click No.

   A message displays indicating whether the feature is now on or off.
