Menu 10.1.9 - Financial Screens

The Financial Profile screens include an unlimited number of fields that you can use to store information. Each Financial Profile screen displays 40 fields. These fields can do many sophisticated functions, such as performing calculations on data entered, screening for certain types of information, and checking for valid data. Before using the Financial Profile screens, note the following:

  • To add or change information, enter new information directly over existing information (if present). When you enter a new account, the cursor may stop only at pre-selected fields if set up to do so in menu 10.6.68.
  • To move between fields, in any field, on any of the screens, enter a slash (/) and the number of the field to move the cursor to (example: /34). Use this method to move the cursor up or down or to go from one screen to another.
  • After entering information in certain fields of a packeted account, the system may prompt: Do You Wish To Update Entire Packet? (Y/N). Enter Y to duplicate the information throughout the entire packet.
  • To move between screens, enter a slash (/), the letter S, and the screen number (example: /S4).
  • To erase a field and leave it blank, enter a single space.
  • To enter a date, as an alternative to typing the date, you can enter 0 (zero), and the system enters the current date. To enter a date in the future, enter the number of days from the current date to the future date.
  • If a field prompt contains the string CSZ, you may enter a zip code, and the city, state, and zip code display automatically. For example, in the field EMP1 CSZ, if you enter 97217, the words Portland, OR 97217 display.
