Menu 10.1.70 - Data Profile Setup
A data access profile restricts access to accounts by business class, status code, client, or branch. After you create a data access profile, you assign it to a Menu 10.1.6 - Passwords. After you save the user login changes, the user cannot view, open, or edit any accounts for the business class, client, status code, or branch specified in the data access profile.
You can create multiple profiles for your agency, but you can only assign one profile to each user.
If a user tries to access an account belonging to a restricted client, business class, status code, or branch, The Collector System notifies the user that the account is restricted. Depending on the screen, the user is either returned to a previous screen, or given an option to enter information for a different account. If a user is restricted from accessing an account that is part of a packet, they are also restricted from accessing any other members in that packet. Users can, however, add accounts to restricted packets.
When a collector is working a WIP and if the account is restricted from that collector, The Collector System skips the account and proceeds immediately to the next account on the list. If your agency uses a dialer and restricts a collector from accessing an account, The Collector System automatically searches for a collector with the proper permissions.
