Removing old cross-references when changes occur

This option enables you to automatically remove old cross-referenced entries when making changes to cross-referenced fields. When you update a cross-referenced field, The Collector System removes the old cross-reference. The Collector System creates cross-reference items when you update the field, not when you file the account.

This feature is only available for the Debtor and Fiscal fields. You can only remove old cross-referenced entries related to the changes you are making, rather than all previous cross-references.

To enable or disable the removal of old cross-references:

  1. From the Master menu, navigate to ClosedManagement Work Strategy > Agency > Misc. Setup Routines (menu 10.1.15).

  2. In the Miscellaneous Setup Routines window, select Remove old x-ref entry when changes occur, and press Enter or click Ok.
