Removing old cross-references when changes occur
This option enables you to automatically remove old cross-referenced entries when making changes to cross-referenced fields. When you update a cross-referenced field, The Collector System removes the old cross-reference. The Collector System creates cross-reference items when you update the field, not when you file the account.
This feature is only available for the Debtor and Fiscal fields. You can only remove old cross-referenced entries related to the changes you are making, rather than all previous cross-references.
To enable or disable the removal of old cross-references:

From the Master menu, navigate to
Management Work Strategy > Agency > Misc. Setup Routines (menu 10.1.15).
- In the Miscellaneous Setup Routines window, select Remove old x-ref entry when changes occur, and press Enter or click Ok.

At the Do you wish to remove an old xref entry when correcting a xref field? prompt, do one of the following:
Remove the cross-reference entry
- Click Yes.
- At the Old xref entry will be deleted when changes made. Press <CR> to continue. prompt, to delete cross-references, press Enter.
Not remove the cross-reference entry
- Click No.
- At the Old xref entry will Not be deleted when changes made. Press <CR> to continue. prompt, to not delete cross-references, press Enter.
- In the Miscellaneous Setup Routines window, to exit, click Cancel.
