A status code is a series of three-letter combinations that describe the status of an account. For example, active accounts usually have an ACT status code while canceled accounts might display CNR (Canceled, no response) or CAN (Canceled by client request). The Collector System comes pre-configured with many different codes, but your agency can also create their own. You can delete status codes, but there are some specific codes that you cannot delete because they are necessary to the processing of accounts in The Collector System.
