Updating packet member information

When you update certain fields in the Account Update screen, The Collector System may prompt you to update the same information for all of the packet members, none of the packet members (except the current account), or specific packet members.

The prompt that displays depends on the field you are changing and how your agency configures The Collector System to propagate the changes to the packet members.

No prompt displays if your agency has set up The Collector System to always change all of the accounts in the packet or change none of the accounts in the packet.

Fields in the Account Update screen

Prompt

Name, Name2, Address, Address2, City, St, ZIP, Telephone, SSN, DRL, Email Address

At the Do You Wish to Change field name of All Packet Members? (Y, N, CR=(S)elect) prompt, do one of the following, and press Enter:

  • To apply the changes in the field to all packet members, type Y.
  • To apply the changes to only the current account, type N.
  • To select the packet members to apply the changes to, type S.
    • For each packet member, at the Curr field name = changed information number of number Ok? (Y, N) prompt, do one of the following, and press Enter:
      • To apply the change to the specified packet member, type Y.
      • To not apply the change to the specified packet member, type N.

Status

At the Change Status of All Packet Members? (Y, N, CR=(S)elect) prompt, do one of the following, and press Enter:

  • To apply the status change to all packet members, type Y.
  • To apply the status change to only the current account, type N.
  • To select the packet members to apply the status change to, type S.
  • For each packet member, at the Curr Sts = changed status number of number Ok? (Y, N) prompt, do one of the following, and press Enter:
    • To apply the status change to the specified packet member, type Y.
    • To not apply the status change to the specified packet member, type N.
