View CU·Archive Documents
Display archived documents if your agency has purchased CU·Archive. For more information regarding configuring and maintaining CU·Archive, see the CU·Archive documentation for instructions.
Scan Image Documents
Scan images for those workstations designated for scanning purposes. The port you are on must have been previously designated as a scanning port. A window displays showing the established categories of documents, and you can select the appropriate category. After the documents are scanned, the system prompts for the number of documents that were scanned. At this point, another category can be chosen for the same account or client or the user can go to another account or client.
View Image Documents
View or print scanned documents. A window displays showing the categories of scanned documents. Enter the number of a category. If the terminal is a workstation, the document displays. If the terminal is not a workstation, the documents will not display, however, you can request documents to print out using the Image Document Inquiry option.
Image Document Inquiry
View the categories and their corresponding documents for this account. A window displays showing the categories, date of last scan, and number of documents in each category. Enter R to request categories to be printed out. The system prompts for the category, then allows entry of a message to the person who will process the request. This option is helpful for users whose terminal is not a workstation.
Process Image Requests
View all image requests made. These requests are sorted by logon, by date, and by employee initials. You can print the requests or any other steps necessary to process the requests may be executed.
You can use a macro along with command MG to eliminate extra keystrokes during the scanning process. At any prompt where command MG is used, enter MG,nn. The comma indicates that the system is calling a macro and nn is the macro's number. You may configure the macro to go to the point where the scanning begins, and then continue when you return from the scanning mode. When you go into the scanning mode, the workstation takes over until it is indicated on the workstation side that this set of documents is completed. When the processing on the workstation side is complete, the macro waits to continue where it left off before going into scanning mode.
For more information on creating macros, see Menu 10.4.39 - Collector Macros.
