Displaying scanned images and archiving options for clients

Use command MG to display options for scanned images and archiving. You can only access this window if your organization is set up with either CU·Archive or document scanning.

To display the options for scanned images and archiving for a client:

  1. Navigate to the Client Inquiry screen.
  2. At the Enter Option (?) prompt, type MG, and press Enter.
  3. In the Imaging Selections window, select one of the following, and press Enter or click Ok:
    • To display archived documents if your agency has purchased CU·Archive, select View CU Archive Documents.

      For instructions for this option, refer to the CU·Archive documentation.

    • To scan documents and add them to the account, select Scan Image Documents.
      • A window displays the established categories of documents, and the user can select the appropriate category. After the documents are scanned, the system prompts for the number of documents that were scanned. At this point, you can choose another category for the same account or client or the user can go to another account or client.

      This option is for scanning workstations. The port you are on must have been previously designated as a scanning port.
