Managing miscellaneous WIPs

Menu 5.1

A miscellaneous WIP, commonly referred to as a misc. WIP, is a list of accounts you can create to work outside of your daily WIP. A misc. WIP can contain any account on the system; the accounts do not have to come from your daily WIP. Your manager gives you access to create or work misc. WIPs through your user login.

It is important to note that misc. WIPs created from menu 5 and those created from menus 10 and 13 behave differently:

  • When a manager creates a misc. WIP from menu 10 or 13, The Collector System rebuilds it each day during Day-End.
  • If a collector has permission to create miscellaneous WIPs from menu 5, they can rebuild them as necessary, but The Collector System does not rebuild them during Day-End.

You create a misc. WIP by using a Recall Select statement to select the accounts to place in the misc. WIP. For more information, see Working with Recall or contact your Finvi Support representative.

You can create a new Recall statement or use one already saved on your system. You can only view Recall statements that are assigned agency-wide or to your specific desk.
