Managing notes

Posting notes (often called PN notes because of the "PN" designation at the start of each line) are first created either in the account record by collectors or in the client record by data entry personnel.

Both PN notes for accounts and clients display similarly at the bottom of the Posting screen, but how you access each is different. Account PN notes display automatically every time you enter the Posting screen for the account or until you delete the notes. Client PN notes can only be accessed by entering the PN an option in the Amount field and can only be deleted from the client record.

If an account is packeted, any posting notes belonging to other packet members also display.
