Changing a payment plan
In most cases, accounts on a payment plan are not added to your WIP list. To view or change a payment plan, enter the account number at the Enter Account# (?, /) prompt.
To change a payment plan:
- Open an account in the Collector screen.
- At the Account number on Payment Plan. Do You Wish to View Plan? (CR=Y, N) prompt, press Enter.
- In the Payment Plan Setup screen, do one of the following:
To change the accessible fields on the screen, see Creating a payment plan.
The Curr Due field is only accessible when changing a payment plan and allows you to change the current due date. Type a date or type the number of days from the current date, and press Enter.
- To determine an exact amount or time schedule, in the Payment Amount or Freq fields, type C, and press Enter.
If the payment plan includes more than one account, to display individual members of this payment plan, type J in any field, and press Enter.
If needed, you can open the calculator by typing CA in this field. For more information, see Using the calculator.
- To save your changes, in any field type #, and press Enter.

At the OK to File? prompt, do one of the following:
- To save your changes, press Enter.
- To discard your changes, type N, and press Enter.
- At the Change, Delete, Add, or Quit Unchanged? (CR=C, Del, A, Q) prompt, type Q, and press Enter.
- To continue making changes to the Payment Plan Setup screen, type /, and press Enter.
The system displays a message that the plan is saved.
