Setting up statements

We provide a default statement format, which you can use for any or all of your clients, or you can create your own custom formats and use those for your clients or as your default agency format. Use this routine to determine the default statement format for your agency as well as create any customized statement formats you may need.

You have a great deal of flexibility in the way you format your statements. You determine the content you include on the statements, the order in which it prints, the type of paper it prints on and, if your agency uses templates, you can customize the look and feel of the statement as well.

If you have need for a more complex statement format than you can create using the Statement routine, we offer custom programming options. If we develop a customized statement program for your agency, the names of the programs display when you enter the statement setup routine (menu 10.1.10). For more information on custom programming options, contact your Finvi Support representative.

The Collector System provides a default format so you can begin printing statements immediately. If your preferred settings differ from the default, you have two options:

Edit the default settings
Create additional statement formats of your own

If you require only minor changes to the default information and will be using the same format for all of your statements, it may be easiest to edit the default statement format. For significant changes or to change formats, creating a new format might be easiest. For more information, see Creating new statement formats.
