Removing a saved list of accounts from a packet

Removing accounts from a packet does not delete them from the system.

To remove a saved list of accounts from a packet:

  1. Follow the instructions in Creating saved lists.
  2. At the Account# (/, /n, . , - , Pkt, Dis, Off) prompt, type PKT, and press Enter.

  3. In the Packet Options window, select Remove from Packet, and press Enter or click Ok.
  4. At the account number Deleted from Packet number prompt, click Ok.
  5. At the OK for account number to be Removed from Packet number prompt, click Yes.

    The prompts in Steps 4 and 5 repeat for each of the accounts in the packet.

  6. If you have removed all but one of the accounts from a packet, the Eliminate Packet? prompt displays. Do one of the following:

    • To remove the one account from the packet and delete the packet number from the system, click Yes.
    • To keep the account as part of the packet number, click No.

    Even though you have removed accounts from the packet or deleted the packet number, the system does not display a confirmation message.
