Making address corrections

Use this option to make address corrections (including international addresses). If you need to update other account information, use command 9 to access the Account Update screen. The Account Update screen allows you to update not only address information, but other details of the account. For more information, see Adding or editing account information.

For international addresses, address information from the International Address window nulls any data that would normally exist in the City, St, and Zip fields.

To make address corrections:

  1. Open an account in the Collector screen.
  2. At the CMD prompt, type AC, and press Enter.
  3. In the Address Corrections screen, do one of the following:

  4. To save your changes and return o the Collector screen, in any field type #, and press Enter.
  5. If the account is the member of a packet, at the Change Status of All Packet Members? prompt, do one of the following:

    • To apply the status code change to all the members of the packet, click Yes.
    • To apply the status code change to only the current account, click No.

    Depending on how your agency set up The Collector System, this prompt may not display.

  6. At the OK to File? prompt, do one of the following:
    • To save your changes, press Enter, or type Y and press Enter.
    • To discard your changes, type N, and press Enter.
    • To go back to the Address Corrections screen, type /, and press Enter.
  7. In the Request Letter / Restart Series window, do one of the following, and press Enter or click Ok.
