Deleting a SPA

Menu 5.1

Use this option to delete the entire scheduled payment arrangement for an account.

By using this option, you delete all of the past and future payments associated with this account as part of the SPA. To delete one or more scheduled payments, see Deleting a SPA payment.

To delete a SPA:

1. Open an account in the Collector screen.
2. At the CMD prompt, type SPA, and press Enter.

3. At the CMD prompt, type X, and press Enter.

   The commands listed in the CMD prompt vary depending on if packet members are included in the SPA or if you are in the Single Payments area of the Scheduled Payment Arrangement screen. For a list descriptions for the commands on this screen, see Scheduled Payment Arrangements (SPAs).

4. At the Are you sure you want to delete the entire Scheduled Payment Arrangement? prompt, do one of the following:
   • To delete the SPA, including all previous and future payments, click Yes.
   • To keep the SPA, click No.
5. At the CMD prompt, type #, and press Enter.

A note is added to the account that The Collector System has deleted the SPA.
