Menu 9.13 - File Maintenance
In The Collector System, information is stored in files. There is a client file, which contains all client records, an Account file, which contains all account records, and other files. Information is stored in frames on the workstation's hard drive. If the frames in a file are in an order that cannot be easily accessed by The Collector System, it can be slowed down. The options available in this menu ensure that file sizes and frame allocations will not slow the system down.
When you run this routine, the files associated with CU·Sync or CU·Converse are automatically included. If you are using the CU·Converse RT dialer, you need to run the File Maintenance option from the CU·Converse RT menu separately to perform maintenance on other dialer-related files.
