Menu 9.28 - Process Scheduler

Process Scheduler is a background process (phantom) that allows you to automatically execute other background processes according to a specified schedule. After you upgrade to The Collector System 2017 or newer, Process Scheduler is available for immediate use, as the configuration settings are optional. Once you start Process Scheduler, it continues to run in the background scanning for new processes to initiate unless you intentionally stop it. Also, there is no limit on the number of simultaneous processes.

Process Scheduler treats processes and schedules as separate items. So the first time you create an ACH reports process, you can reuse it with different schedules. Conversely, if you create a schedule profile that works well for several processes (for example, Monday through Friday at 11pm) you can assign the profile to multiple processes.

Although you can use Menu 9.28 to create a schedule for Parallel strategies, you must also associate the parallel strategy with the schedule using Parallel strategy process indicators.
