Steps for creating letters/notices using The Collector System editor

Complete the following steps in the order listed to create letters/notices using The Collector System editor.

1. Create the letter/notice definition.
2. Define Codes.
   1. Create a letter type code to restrict letters/notices from being sent.
   2. Assign the letter type code to letters/notices in the letter/notice definition and enter codes in the Client Control Record to restrict sending certain types of letters/notices.
   3. Configure a packet limitation code.
   4. Configure dollar amount codes.
   5. Configure print formats for @W codes.
3. Configure new letter/notice forms, add content, and create letter groups.
   1. Configure a new letter/notice form.
   2. Add content to a letter/notice definition.
   3. Configure multi-page letters/notices and letter/notices sets.
   4. Configure a new letter/notice series.
4. Generate letter/notice samples.
   1. Request or generate sample trust letters/notices.
   2. Request or generate samples of pre-collect letters/notices.
   3. Regenerate the last requested sample letter/notice.
   4. Print sample letter/notice text.
   5. Print sample templates.
